On this ground stood the mighty 'Broadbottom Industrial Co Op' It was quite a place for a village. More like a shop you may find in a Town. There was a library on the upper floor(third) and I was kept in place by my aunt telling me the floor was unsafe. Possibly it was, because it didn't last too long before it was pulled down, and in it's place there was an Adventure playground built, then the present Community Centre was built some time later.
