Audi 90 Quattro saloon. Nice car.

Derbi Cross City 125

Bought for Luke. This was a 'Triggers brush' bike. It cost 360 and I kept it on the road for more than 2 years. Sold for 150

Derbi Senda SM 50

Bought for Luke. Cost 600. I put an Airsal 70 kit and derestricted expansion chamber on. He used it for a year or so until I gor the Derbi Cross City. Kept and partially restored it.

Always wanted one of these. In yellow too.

GP MkII Beach Buggy

I had this for years. It was fun, but took over the garage.

Hanway BlackCafe 125

Bought to replace the Derbi Cross City 125. It lasted 3 years of no real care and attention. Discarded when he bought a car. Sold May 2026

Jincheng 80 Monkey

Great for the back of the Type 2. Had a 125 engine installed. Fer better than the original 50cc.

Mitsubishi Delica JDM

Had this big workhorse for years. Used to pull the trailer tent around the UK and Netherlands. Transported family members on sightseeing trips. I was going to change it into a campervan, but realised it was too small. Eventually needed lots of welding on the chassis, so sold on.

Peugeot Boxer (Pantechnicon)

A labour of love. Not really. After having a bit of a breakdown by the way I was treated at my place of work, I decided to design and build this completely by myself because I knew I was capable, even though my treatment had made me feel incapable of anything. It was a good therapy.

Polo GTI

Lovely car, similar in weight, power, and handling to a Golf GTI Mk1. It's gearbox finally let me down. The 5th gear is a weak spot. Sadly I parted with it, but it had a private reg which I retained, and still use to this day. I've lost count on how many it's been on, but that's because I never counted.

Renault Migane 165 CC

This was OK. Let down when one of the computers went AWOL, but after being rectified I had no other problems.

Subaru Impreza WRX STIII

Great car. Very fast 300+ BHP STI red engine. Only rid of it because the insurance became too dammed silly, and it drunk more petrol than I drunk beer!

Suziki Vitara

It's a Vitara, what can I say. Nice car.

Suzuki Ignis

Nice quirky car with good petrol consumption.

Suzuki Swift 4wd

1 Owner, nice car. Not the fastest, but a bit of a dodgem which is what I like. Surprised I haven't scrubbed the tyres off yet.

Suzuki SX4

Power to weight made this not a great car to drive.

Suzuki TU250G JDM

I love this little bike. Great for countryside rides at sensible speeds.

Suzuki VanVan 125

Great bike. I got this so I could ride with Luke when he got a bike. Sold it in 2026 for very little money. Sad to see it go, but I need room!

Toyota Lucida

Good family transport for sightseeing the UK. Sold when head gasket went.

Type 2 Campervan

Restored this with help - lots of help. This was too big a restoration for limited garage space and tools. Still, it was nice when completed in non-trad colours.

VW EOS

Very posh in Silver. It was immaculate. Fell out of love with it due to leaky windows, broken roof, and mouldy seatbelts.

VW Golf GTTDI

Go this as a workhorse really. It lasted OK, but finally turbo gave in, and the stupid clutch, so it was part exchanged for Alla's first Picanto.

Yamaha R5 350

The first restoration project since redundancy. What better than Yamaha R5B 350 from 1970. The forerunner to the RD 350 I shattered my leg on. I think this will be a fairly light restoration as I want to use it on the road, but who knows.

Yamaha RD 350

This is the bike I had the life changing accident on. 16 June 1979. Actually an RD 350 but I was only allowed 250 on provisional licence, hence the side panels. Oh dear, how naughty!

Yamaha V-Max 1200

This was a fast, very fast bike. Got it stolen from my drive when I was prepping it for MOT due next day. Recovered it in a bad state. Eventually sold it to the chap who dropped off the Van Van.

Yamaha Virago XV125

Far too heavy for a 125. Looked good though!

Yamaha Virago XV535

Bought this as a bit of a project. Turned it into something rather nice. Sold it to my works storeman for not enough money, but that's me all over. I did it for the buzz of the project.

Yamaha Virago XV1100

Far too much chrome for a wet and windy North West. It had to go.
